Here is a card I made to send a wee note off to a friend.
The background uses the shaving cream technique, and the stamped image was colored with permanent markers – on a piece of transparency.

This is me playing with backgrounds and newspaper transfers (the man on the left page) again! The foil on the right side is from a cottage cheese container, which I dry embossed then brushed with inks.

Aluminum tape is applied criss-cross to the cover – then I added alcohol inks. The book itself is made from the cardboard ends of a large empty ribbon spool I got from a fabric store. I took the ends off the spool and folded them in half. Instant book! I covered the back and part of the front with a material called Etal which is a metal fabric.
