I started this book a while ago – using junk mail for the pages. The stock is very stiff and makes wonderful sturdy pages…some of them are double, some are triple folded, and some have flaps on all four sides…amazing advertising formats…great for an altering person!
There are four signatures and over 60 pages of collaging, painting, stenciling; you name it, it’s in there!

Hi Daphne, just stopping by for a visit, but glad I did because I think from this post I finally "get" the junk mail thing…that it is simply background papers since I could see no junk mail. We actually are blessed not to get junk mail in Ukraine, but that doesn't keep me from using other such papers in the same way, like from magazines which I do. Hi Coleen,Thanks so much for your lovely comment.Actually, the pages are made with the ‘junk’ mail, which is typically all advertising mail.The cards are heavy stock, allowing for wonderful weight pages that I then sew into a book form, with folios and signatures. I then paint or gesso the pages, and continue with the collage, etc.Thanks again to all my followers.
