IMAGINE PARADISE

This is the first page in a book I am altering. The backgrounds are painted with Twinkling H2O’s, the heart is made of tyvek paper, the butterfly is a piece of foam I heated and imprinted with a rubber stamp then colored, the image on the right has tulle wrapped with jazzy thread placed around her head with a fabric flower glued to the side of it.

FABRIC/PAPER ALTERED BOARD BOOK

I have uploaded an altered board book as a slide show on the left. The left side is paper, the right side is fabric. This was a lot of fun to make.

This is the cover of an altered book that I just finished. I tend to do the covers last so they don’t get scuffed up whilst working on the inside pages, weighing them down etc.

HOMONYM SWAP

This is a homonym card swap I just finished with a rubberstamping group. My words were “bowled/bold”.

FABRIC TRANSFERS

These are fabric transfers using gel, glues, and fabric – also using glue-backed fabric. These are all a bit different, depending on the paper, the adhesive, and the inks. I will be using these in art quilts, following along with the book “Art Quilt Workbook” by Jane Davila & Elin Waterston.
